Celebrate the arrival of spring surrounded by thousands of blooming daffodils. Each spring, Innisfree bursts into color as thousands of heirloom daffodils bloom across the landscape.

Guests will begin by foraging a curated selection of edible flowers, learning how to identify, harvest, and handle them with care. Back inside, you’ll press your blooms and learn the technique for laminating them onto delicate, buttery shortbread cookies.

Trade Secrets is the principle fundraiser for Project SAGE, a non-profit domestic violence agency serving Northwest Connecticut and the surrounding communities in New York and Massachusetts.

Participants will learn the process of making an indigo vat from the plant itself, gaining an understanding of the traditional process from leaf to dye. All participants will get a bandana and some scrap fabric to experiment with and are encourages to bring 100% cotton clothing of their own to dye.
