Getting to Millerton

Millerton, New York, is located in the beautiful valley of the Taconic Mountains in Dutchess County, 100 miles north of New York City, 15 miles south of The Berkshires, and 150 miles west of Boston. The town borders both Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Driving from New York City 

If taking the Taconic Parkway, Follow NY-9A N, Sprain Brook Pkwy N, and Taconic State Parkway N to US-44 E in Pleasant Valley. Take exit 54 from Taconic State Parkway N. Turn right onto US-44 E, then Turn right onto Main St in Millerton.

Driving from Boston

If taking I-90 W, Follow I-90 W to NY-22 S in Canaan. Take exit B3 from I-90 W. Follow NY-22 S to Main St in Millerton.

Metro-North Train

Metro-North trains run daily. Travel time from Grand Central, New York City, is two and a half hours. The Metro-North Train station is located 15 minutes south of Millerton in Wassaic, NY.

Parking

Millerton offers ample parking options for visitors. Main Street and its surrounding side streets provide plenty of spaces, with additional parking available on Century Blvd. and Dutchess Avenue. The Rail Trail parking lot on South Center Street offers direct access to the trail. Taros, Harney & Sons, Golden Wok, and Country Gardeners Florist offer designated parking areas.
