About the event
If you live in Connecticut’s NW corner, you’re no stranger to seeing black bears. They live in our woods, routinely cross roads, and even find themselves roaming our backyards. While they certainly are fascinating, they can present problems when it comes to hanging your bird feeder. But not to worry! You don’t have to quit feeding your beloved backyard birds with bears around. We’ll show you how to create a more sustainable buffet for birds, throughout the seasons, using native plants.
